Green Library offers after-hours study space
We are excited to announce that beginning January 12, 2025 Stanford ID holders will have access to a new after-hours study space in Green Library, five nights a week.
The after-hours study space will be in Hohbach Hall, on the first floor of Green Library and accessible via the east entrance (close to Coupa Café). It will be open from midnight to 3 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays, when classes are in session, with additional hours planned for End-Quarter Week and Exam Week. Please check the library hours before visiting.
Who: Stanford ID holders only. Visitors and users with a purchased library card will not be admitted.
Where: Entry limited to the east entrance of Green Library (close to Coupa Café and the red fountain). The after-hours study space is in Hohbach Hall, on the first floor of Green Library, while the rest of the building is closed.
Services available: Library and security staff will be on site and can assist users who need to pick up available requests or course reserves. They can also help with questions about library accounts or with issues accessing online library resources. Reservable group study rooms and Cardinal Print devices will be available.
What to expect: Prior to opening the after-hours space, all library users will need to have exited Green Library by midnight. Library staff will begin to allow Stanford ID holders into the after-hours space, through the east entrance only, beginning shortly after midnight. Please note that only the first floor on the east side of the building will be open. Beverages in sealable containers are acceptable to bring in. Food will not be permitted inside the building.
